eBook Library Personal Account

To register for a free personal account:

  • Click on Register in the site header to open the new user registration page
  • Fill in the form with your username, password, name, and email address and accept the terms and conditions

Personal account features include:

  • Save books to your favorites lists or save searches and receive email alerts when new content is added relevant to that search
  • Sign up for new content alerts for specific book series
  • Pair your mobile device to view your eBook Library content on the go

PLEASE NOTE:

  • Personal accounts are an optional feature and are not required to view any of the content on the site
  • Personal accounts do not replace authentication via your institution; you must first be logged in through your institution to use eBook Library

Searching for Content in eBook Library

General Search:

  • Search for words, phrases, ISBNs, authors, or keywords using the general search bar.
  • Titles can also be browsed by collection or series.

Advanced Search:

  • Use quotation marks to search for an exact phrase ("mechanical engineering")
  • Combine terms using uppercase AND and OR (mechanical AND engineering)
  • Use a question mark (?) to represent any one character wildcard and use an asterisk (*) to represent zero or more characters (Europe* will find results containing Europe and European)
  • Search for terms in a specific field (Anywhere, Title, Author, or Keywords) or within a specific date range

Search Results:

  • Results can be sorted by publication date or title
  • Apply filters for author, keyword, publication date, or series to narrow results
  • Use the checkboxes in the results list to select specific items to save to your personal account, send links via email, or download citations
  • Save searches to your personal account to run again or get email alerts for new results

Using the eBook Library Reader

McGraw Hill's eBook Library has an integrated eReader feature for reading book content online.  Click "Open eBook" next to any title that you have access to to open this feature.

From the Reader, there are several options available:

  1. Use the options on the top right side to download a PDF copy for offline use, search within the book, zoom in or out, and enter fullscreen view
  2. Use the Reading Options menu to set the reading flow and whether the pages appear vertically or side by side
  3. Use the Publication Info menu on the left side to view title details (including downloadable citation data), view and navigate the table of contents, or add notes and annotations (supported by Remarq)

McGraw Hill's eBook Library is a powerful online resource that delivers an exceptional eBook collection, with notable content across subject areas, including: Medical & USMLE® Test Prep; Business; Computing & TAB Certification; Language; Student Study Aids.  Users can access content through their library's collection, wherever and whenever they want it with new mobile features.  Search is simple to use, and users can create personal accounts to save searches, set up alerts, and bookmark titles.
